My Journey

Since childhood, cars have excited me and I got into Mechanical Engineering to learn more about automobiles. During my college days, participating in a competition “SAE BAJA”, where a team designs and fabricates an ATV, I found excitement in the design process.

After completing my college and internship, I started looking for careers in which creativity is important. Marketing seemed like a very interesting option. After doing internship in marketing, I realized that it was not as creative as I thought it would be. But I got to know a lot about user research and market research, which made me interested in the field of UI/UX. I started learning the topics through online courses on platforms like Udemy, followed by practice sessions after learning each skill. Then, I implemented a few projects in UI/UX using the acquired knowledge and skills.

I joined Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology because I wanted to be in an environment where I could learn more with peers who have the same interest but come from different backgrounds of profession and give different perspectives on problems. My time in this institute helped me expand my knowledge on a variety of research methodologies, improve my design skills and gave a new perspective of human-centered approach.

With a master's degree in Human Centered Design, I bring passion for combining research with user experience to solve user-centric problems for all stakeholders and users. My goal is to not only create meaningful experiences for users through design, storytelling and solutions but also drive effective business outcomes.
